My wife Erin gifted me with an Alan Watts book a few years ago titled The Wisdom of Insecurity. Originally published in 1951, some of the language and ideas haven’t aged well (I mean, what can anyone expect from a man who died nearly fifty years ago?) But most of the overarching ideas remain ad existential treasures.
After reading this book, I was ravenous for more content and ideas from Alan Watts, so I took to google, which landed me on YouTube (a google product because -- like five billionaires own, like, I dunno, everything, which as you know is a perfectly normal way for a society to operate.)
I digress, but anyway, after a few hours of listening to his lectures, I was hooked. :)
